We've reimagined the bookmobile as a mobile library using a 7’x14’ trailer complete with vending window, air conditioning and loading ramp to be unfolded at places of all sorts throughout the county to provide library service: parks, schools, hospitals, churches, nursing homes, special events, sporting events and community centers. We even plan to bring it to the Neshoba County Fair as a genealogy lab. At all events, we will open our Mobile Library Unit up to the public in attendance, offering books, periodicals, genealogy resources, computer stations, wifi hotspot and friendly staff. Tables, tents and chairs will be used along the outside of the unit, offering quiet and shaded reading.
